Let It Snow

When we woke up on Sunday, there was an inch of snow on the ground. I wondered what Cooper would think of this white fluffy covering.

Cooper stepped into the snow and immediately took a lick. For the rest of the walk, he stopped continuously to take a bite of the snow.

Cooper did not seem to mind that his feet were wet and cold.

I told Cooper that it was a good thing he started to grow his belly hair or it would be a very cold winter!

Jeff and Valerie, I am in tears. I was messing around on the web and found your blog again and there was your post about Danny. Words cannot say how sorry I am! When I reached out to you in May...who knew this would happen! And how quickly!

Cancer is a horrible thing--I've been lucky with my dog Bailey. She had cancer surgery back in 2005 and she has survived.

And then there's Cooper. There is a special place in Heaven (Danny waits for you there) for people who take in special-needs dogs. I can see a difference already in Cooper's coat and muscle from the photos you've posted. Whatever you're feeding him (Iams? Eukanuba?), it's doing him good.

God bless you both!
